JEFFERSON HILLS – As a way for residents to further understand their rights with respect to the state’s firearms laws and protections, Rep. Mike Puskaric (R-Allegheny/Washington) is hosting a free firearm seminar on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Blaine Hill Fire Department, located at 409 Oxford Ave. in Elizabeth.
“Pennsylvania leads the nation with more than 1 million concealed carry permits having been issued to citizens,” said Puskaric. “However, many permit holders are unaware of their responsibilities.”
Kim Stolfer, co-founder of the Firearms Owners against Crime, will share information on the right to carry, knowing your rights, Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine, where you can and cannot carry, and much more. In addition, Puskaric will provide a legislative update on gun laws in Pennsylvania.
“In the past, this information has been well received by attendees of these seminars and empowers individuals to better protect themselves in various situations,” said Puskaric.
While there is no charge for this seminar, seating is limited. Please register online at RepPuskaric.com or contact Puskaric’s district office in Jefferson Hills at 412-382-2009.
