JEFFERSON HILLS – In an effort to be better inform area gun owners regarding Pennsylvania’s firearm laws, Rep. Mike Puskaric (R-Allegheny/Washington) is hosting a Firearm Seminar on Sunday, Aug. 22, in South Park Township, Allegheny County. The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Carrick Sportsmen’s Club, 3301 Ridge Road.
“There are many misconceptions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and the purpose of this event is to let you know the facts and have your questions answered,” said Puskaric.
Kim Stolfer, co-founder of Firearms Owners Against Crime, will share information on the right to carry, knowing your rights, Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine, where you can and cannot carry, and more much. In addition, Puskaric will provide a legislative update on gun laws in Pennsylvania.
“In the past, this information has been well received by attendees of these seminars and has empowered individuals to better protect themselves in various situations,” said Puskaric. “Gun ownership is a right that comes with the responsibility to know the laws and the firearm.”
While there is no charge for the seminar, seating is limited. Register by contacting Puskaric’s district office in Jefferson Hills at 412-382-2009.
